Kyle Kaczmarek, EMBA
CEO & Co-Founder
As CEO of KDMG, Kyle is responsible for the development and growth of new business, as well as developing key partner relationships within the company. Responsible for managing corporate sales goals and projections, Kyle also oversees the organization’s strategic business goals and workforce processes, while staying abreast of state-of-the-art technologies for both KDMG and the company’s clients.
With over 18 years’ experience working in the entertainment industry, Kyle is an expert within the niche areas of digital media, distribution, and new technology. A highly respected professional in his field, Kyle has served as an advisor and consultant for other mid-size entertainment companies in the areas of business development and strategic planning, most notably Good Deed Entertainment and ContentBridge Systems.
Previously, Kyle served as Head of Digital Distribution at Echo Bridge Entertainment, where he oversaw the growth of the division within North America. He also worked in digital media from its inception at Warner Bros. where he oversaw VOD/PPV acquisitions for numerous high profile clients.
In addition to his impressive professional background, Kyle has served as a consultant for DeMatteo Monness, a guest lecturer for UCLA and Ithaca College, and as an expert source for notable industry media outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Los Angeles Business Journal.
A graduate of Ithaca College, Kyle holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Science in Film Production with a minor in Theater.
Jo Louise Hanson
Vice President, Distribution and Operations
Jo Louise Hanson serves as Vice President, Operations and Distribution for KDMG. With over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Jo’s background includes a long-term career with Warner Bros. Launching her career in International Distribution, she was then promoted to Supervisor and Manager of Pay Television Distribution before serving as Director of Domestic Cable and Digital Distribution.
With a proven track record of increasing sales and revenues, Jo also focuses on decreasing costs in order to maximize profitability. She is a talented manager who spearheads projects while incorporating innovation and efficiency. Jo’s background demonstrates strong skills in communication, financial management, operations management, business development, fiscal responsibility, and process improvement. In addition, she has continued to develop her leadership education through S.M.A.R.T Success Academy and Marketing Impact Academy.
Sherry Sparks
Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Client Services
Sherry Sparks is an entertainment executive specializing in the digital distribution, licensing and acquisition of feature films, documentaries, and original IPs in all genres. Her experience encompasses OTT, SVOD, pay/broadcast TV, TVOD, PPV, EST, VOD, electronic sell-through, and mobile content.
In her role as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Client Services at KDMG, Sherry manages new business development by identifying emerging platform technologies and emerging markets. She also helps the company’s clients meet their financial goals and objectives by developing and implementing sales plans utilizing her knowledge of market conditions and key influences to properly identify prospects and key decision makers, while effectively applying and utilizing strategic selling practices and tactics.
As a skilled project manager, Sherry is also proficient in planning and executing business development strategies; working with clients and digital platforms on alignment, synergies and collaboration; and creating overall short- and long-term growth opportunities for all parties.
Robert K. Rock
Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor
A highly respected veteran in the film industry, Bobby Rock currently heads acquisitions at Lightning Entertainment Group. Previously, Bobby served as Senior VP of Acquisitions at Eric Doctorow’s Random Media; Head of Acquisitions at Echo Bridge Entertainment; and Senior V.P. of Production and Development at Francis Coppola’s American Zoetrope. Throughout his career, he has guided Pumpkin, Jeepers Creepers II, and Kinsey through to completion, as well as shepherding the development of the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road and several short stories from American Zoetrope’s All-Story magazine. Before Zoetrope, Bobby worked as VP of Acquisitions at Trimark Pictures (Eve’s Bayou, Phoenix), Triton Pictures (A brief History of Time, Heart of Darkness), and Atlantic Releasing (Wish You Were Here).
Amy Solomon
Senior Manager, Distribution + Marketing
Amy’s role as Sr. Manager of Distribution and Marketing is a multi-faceted one; she is instrumental in helping KDMG to manage new content acquisitions, guiding filmmakers and producers through the distribution process. She also manages KDMG’s social media, expanding the company’s online presence and reach, and publicizing film debuts and offerings.
Amy has over 15 years’ experience in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, with a background in Film Studies and Japanese. She got her start as a production assistant at Bang Zoom! Entertainment. She has held roles as Account Executive at Japan’s largest business newspaper, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei America), and coordinated DVD and Blu-ray production and distribution at CBS Digital. She also worked to close trending video licensing deals in the viral video marketplace at Jukin Media. Most recently, Amy coordinated TV Mastering for 20th Century Fox/Disney.
One of the things Amy enjoys most about working with KDMG is discovering new and exciting films of all different genres. In her not-so-spare time she loves reading to her young son, drawing, cooking, and scrolling through TikTok to find and follow talented creators.
Terese Kohn
INTERNATIONAL SALES + DISTRIBUTION ADVISOR
Terese Linden Kohn, Founder of TALK Global Media, has a golden reputation with decades of indie entertainment expertise in licensing content rights for feature film, television and digital media, as well as navigating all aspects of film marketing and promotion. TALK has been a constant at all major film and television markets/festivals around the world for years and has traveled extensively to foster Distributor and Broadcaster relationships increasing sales revenue as a result while maintaining excellent studio, mini-major, distributor, broadcaster, and digital platform relationships, both domestically and internationally.
Sagar Parikh
general counsel
Sagar Parikh is not your regular attorney who bills by the hour or by the project. Sagar thinks outside the box and works only with entrepreneurs and business owners where his creative legal solutions save them a lot more money than what they pay for his services.
Currently, Sagar acts as outside general counsel to several companies in the $20m to $50m revenue range, including restaurants, digital media companies, fashion brands, and others.
Sagar specializes in acting as general counsel for businesses in a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, blockchain, real estate, digital media, finance, healthcare, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and multi-level-marketing.
Sagar graduated summa cum laude in 2007 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and in 2011 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Sagar is a member of the State Bar of California and practices in both state and federal courts, including the Central District of California Bankruptcy Court.
In his spare time, Mr. Parikh enjoys hiking with his dog, traveling, and doing volunteer work for various community organizations.
Stephanie Daily
accountant
A freelance accountant, Stephanie is trusted for all of KDMG’s financial and accounting needs. Her experience as an accountant includes footwear brand KEEN, Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Columbia Industries, and MassMutual Oregon. Stephanie holds a B.S. in Business Administration; Accounting from Portland State University.
